WADECO MicroRanger – Distance and Level Measurement Instrument
The MWS-10RF FMCW radar level sensor is a cutting-edge solution for radar distance measurement in extreme conditions. It combines advanced technology with FM-CW measurement and circularly polarized microwaves, delivering highly accurate, stable, and reliable level measurements. The sensor’s heat-resistant antenna operates in high-temperature zones, while the controller stays in a cooler area, ensuring precise measurements without needing special cooling.
Ideal for challenging applications in the iron and steel industry, the MWS-10RF is used to monitor blast furnace burden profiles, pig iron levels in Torpedo Cars, and BOF bath levels. It also suits other demanding environments like municipal, industrial, and nuclear waste disposal furnaces.

- These recording features allow offline optimization of system parameters and facilitate remote troubleshooting and support.
- The display provides real-time output of internal temperature and alerts for irregularities, such as low signal power, rising controller temperature, and communication issues.
